ABOUT TECH DIVAS
iDreams Tech Divas is an initiative iDreams World in collaboration with Africa Youth Community (AYC), AEA Young Entrepreneurs Club (AYEC) and National Center for Women Development , to to train and empower young women by providing them with in-depth practical digital technology skills to utilize the various digital tools to catalyze their entrepreneurial growth in a business environment that is becoming more and more technology-driven.
Having knowledge of and access to technology would be a fantastic generational investment that will have a positive impact on the economy at a time when the world is growing digitally, with women making up 49.31% of the population in Nigeria (World Bank, 2021).
OUR OBJECTIVES
Empowerment
The major objective of this project is to reduce gender divide by Empower young women to the importance of digital tools for personal business development and branding.
Digital Literacy
To increase Digital Literacy amongst the girl child and enable them to become digitally inclined towards technology.
Technology
To raise awareness of the impact of Technology and its benefits to women and girls in a digitally changing society.
Business
To boost the Business confidence of these young women through educating them on the digital tools that could be applied in the businesses to boost sales and generate revenue..
Global Market
To rebrand and remodel their businesses digitally to compete in a Global Market and promote their brands by applying what they have learnt.
Emancipation
To encourage the strategic and intelligent use of technology through the emancipation of digital tools for the sustainable and financial empowerment of women in Nigeria.
VOLUNTEER
Monetary Support
This is to facilitate the processing of scholarships into our Academy, funding for women who are unable to participate due to lack of money, provide Training Materials for registrants during our training programs, process their certificates, register their businesses, empowerment.
Food Support
It will be a great privilege to have your organization sponsor our program with lunch, i-Dreams Tech Divas will be undergoing a 3- days intensive training and provision of food will be greatly appreciated.
